Job Title: Asset Director
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (onsite)
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent

This leadership role is responsible for the strategic oversight and hands-on management of diverse physical/hard assets and related projects across multiple properties. The position requires a high degree of discretion, operational acumen, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and long-term asset performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Asset Director:

• Lead planning and execution of real estate projects, including renovations, construction, and capital improvements.
• Manage infrastructure and property-related operations, including utilities, roadways, and municipal coordination.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, contractors, and regulatory entities.
• Conduct site visits, assess performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on strategic planning, budgeting, and process optimization.
• Ensure confidentiality, quality standards, and on-time, on-budget delivery of projects.

Qualifications of the Asset Director:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field required.
• 8–12 years of experience in project, asset, or operations management required; background in hospitality preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record of managing capital and operational initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and vendor management skills.
• Willingness to travel, including internationally.
